We operate a computerised repeat prescription system. If your doctor agrees, you may order some prescriptions without being seen. Please post your re-order request (right hand side of your prescription) in the box provided in the foyer, or at the front door if we are closed. You can also speak to your local pharmacist about their 'keep repeat' systems where they can order your prescriptions for you.
You must allow at least 2 working days for the processing of your prescription, and these will be forwarded to the local pharmacy of your choice.
If you are due a medication review, you may be advised to arrange a telephone consultation with the doctor or practice pharmacist.
Please order your repeat medication only as needed and if you no longer take any of your medicines please let us know.

Are you on long term repeat prescriptions and want to save time ordering?
You can register for a whole years prescriptions in one go!
We're working with community pharmacies to help people get their prescriptions at the best time for them. If you are prescribed repeat medicines you may be able to have a "serial prescription", if your doctor thinks this is suitable for you.
A serial prescription means you can get your repeat medicines straight from a pharmacy without having to order a prescription from your doctor beforehand.
How do I register for this service?
You can register at any time at any pharmacy. It's a good idea to register with the pharmacy that you normally go to as the pharmacist there will know you and what medicines you take.
You can find out more information by visiting www.nhsinform.scot
If you have any queries please contact your local pharmacy.
