Face Covering Update

As most of you will be aware, it is now compulsory to wear a face covering in shops and various other settings. We have had a number of enquiries with regards to a letter or certificate to exempt patients from wearing face coverings. Unfortunately we cannot provide this documentation. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a face covering please follow the link for access to D.I.Y cards to help deal with public situations should they occur.

 FLU VACCINE 2020

With COVID-19 It is more important than ever to get the flu vaccine this autumn to protect yourself, others and the NHS.

That being said, your GP practice will not be responsible for organising or administering the vaccine this year. This will now be arranged by Public Health Scotland. You will receive a letter in the near future with more information regarding the vaccination programme which will take place this October.

If you are unsure whether you will be offered the vaccine please follow the link provided from the NHS inform website which will detail those who are eligible for the vaccine this year.

If you are NOT eligible for a vaccination with the NHS, but would still like to be vaccinated, your local pharmacy may be able to administer the vaccine privately.

Please be aware that the practice is not involved in organising the vaccinations this year. Any letter you receive will be from NHS Grampian and contact information for any enquiries should be provided.

Therefore we would encourage patients to avoid contacting the Surgery regarding booking Flu Vaccines.
