Family Planning

We provide a full range of family planning services including coils; caps and implanon. Please call the surgery to arrange an appointment (which will be subject to availability at the time, given current pressures and demands on the Practice).

Joint injections

If advised by a clinician, you may be offered an appointment at the joint injection clinic. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment. Availability is limited and appointments are subject to clinician approval.

Minor Surgery

Appointments for the minor surgery clinic are offered subject to clinician approval and limited availability. Not all conditions are suitable for treatment in this clinic.

Procedures that may be carried out include:

  • Skin biopsy, where clinically appropriate
  • Excision of skin lesion
    • Lipoma
    • Seborrhoeic Keratosis
    • Benign moles
    • Cysts

First Contact Physio

First Contact Physiotherapists are specialist clinicians who can assess, diagnose, and manage many musculoskeletal (muscle and joint) problems without the need to see a GP first.

You may be suitable for an appointment with a First Contact Physiotherapist if you have:

  • Back or neck pain
  • Joint pain (including shoulder, knee, hip or ankle problems)
  • Muscle or soft tissue injuries
  • Sciatica or nerve‑related pain

The physiotherapist can:

  • Assess your condition
  • Provide advice, exercises, and self‑management guidance
  • Arrange investigations where appropriate
  • Refer you on to other services if needed

Appointments are subject to clinical suitability. Please contact the surgery to book or to discuss whether First Contact Physiotherapy is appropriate for you.
